Share the Plate
The January collection for new recipient Café au Play was $467.72. Our support helps support families with young children.

Women's March 
UUFD is co-sponsoring with Indivisible Durango and Planned Parenthood a community Women's March on Saturday January 19th 11:00 am. Meet at train station beginning at 10:30 amMarches around the country standing up for our values! Volunteers to carry our banner, help with safety monitoring needed.  EMAIL BONNIE.

Snowdown Float Construction Party

Recital Series 2018-19

DAYS FOR GIRLS WORK SESSION

Watercolor Workshop  
Friday February 1st 9:00 am-12:00 pm in Bowman Hall, local watercolor artist Barbara Klema will teach about materials and techniques to create successful paintings for all levels. RSVP and further information: EMAIL ALINE.

Social Justice Teams
Ever wondered how we do our social justice work? Stop by the SRJ table to see a chart showing the teams doing good work in our community. Every team welcomes new members to help achieve our mission.

The Ministry Review Task Force 
is conducting UUFD's first review of UUFD Ministries. Our goal is to measure how we as a congregation are meeting our mission. In January, we will be meeting with several of the Ministry Teams to seek their input. In the meantime, we are seeking input for the general UUFD fellowship on the following questions:  
  • How well is UUFD engaging members and friends?
  • How Is UUFD serving its Mission?
We will have a written response box In Bowman Hall. Contact any Task Force member with your feedback:  Allison Andersen, Ken Rice and Tekla Miller.

New Tai Chi Class on Thursdays 11:00 am-12:00 pm in Bowman Hall. 
Tai Chi is sometimes referred to as "moving meditation."  It is helpful for joint mobility, balance, bone strength and stress relief. The. group is suitable for beginners or intermediate practitioners. No special clothing or equipment is required and drop-ins are welcome. Calling all UUFD Artists and aspiring artists at any level or media
We meet every Friday 9:00 am-12 pm in Bowman Hall. This is not a class, but we may have the occasional lesson from a local artist. RSVP is required -   EMAIL ALINE if you wish to be added to the list and receive notifications.

THE BASIC NEEDS TEAM needs your help at the Manna Soup Kitchen
Volunteers needed to prepare & serve lunch on the 4th Tuesday &  4th Friday
of each month 9:00 am-12:30 pm. Also, volunteers are needed to pick up from Walmart on Tuesday 10:30 am & Friday 9:30 am at north and south City Markets to transport to Manna.  EMAIL MARILYN.

Recital Reception Volunteers Needed
The next recital in the recital series is Friday, January 25.  Following the performance, a reception for the artists will be held in Bowman Hall.  If you enjoy attending the recitals, Hospitality is looking for your help with the reception. Sunday Coffee Wranglers
It's the New Year. Are you looking for a way to become more involved with UUFD?  Serving Sunday coffee once a month entails only a three-hour commitment--it's fun, you meet new people, and we never have meetings.  What better way to start or continue your service at UUFD.  Interested in this opportunity   EMAIL ILONA
