I bought this book in 1989, and after I read the first few pages I was so enchanted that I squirreled myself away in my bedroom till I'd read it all!
It's by a physicist, so it's grounded in science, but the author also is a mystic. Scientific data is translated into metaphors that take you to a deeply felt sense of privilege in being Earth's most evolved species. And, you emerge from reading this book with a sense of the sacred obligation we have to take care of our planetary home. Although it was written before some of you were born, it's timely now to inspire us to transcend the challenges we face from an incompetent administration, guided by a vision of the more beautiful world we know is possible.
