Local Option Sales and Service Tax (LOSST)- VOTE on March 6th 
During a special election on Tuesday, March 6, Polk County residents will vote on a countywide referendum for a one-cent local option sales tax. Windsor Heights could receive $900,000 annually if it passes.

2018 Pet License
It's time to register your pets for 2018. All pet owners must register their animals between January 1st through March 31st. A copy of your pet's current rabies certificate is required for a new or renewal license. The fee for a neutered animal is $20. The fee for a non-neutered animals is $30. Pet Licenses are available at the Windsor Heights Public Safety Building located at 1133 66th Street. The 2018 Pet License Application is available on the Windsor Heights website at http://www.windsorheights.org/DocumentCenter/View/412. 2018 Street Rehabilitation City News Hour April 9th at 5:30 p.m.
The City News Hour on April 9 th at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers will be on the 2018 Street Rehabilitation Project.

The Project consists of street repairs on various streets throughout the City, including HMA overlay and concrete street patching. The street rehabilitation project includes 70th Street, between University Avenue and Hickman Road and will include concrete patching along with other concrete work. This work will begin in April and conclude in early fall of 2018. Road closures will occur. Please pay special attention to all road signs for closure notice. Use alternate routes during any closures.

The HMA portion of the project will begin in the summer of 2018. Access to driveways will be affected for short periods of time while work is being performed. Residents affected will receive notification letters prior to construction start for more information. See the project page on the City website for more information.
