THE BUSINESS OF ENGINEERING
ACEC/L is working to be recognized by all Engineering Companies in Louisiana as the Primary Source of Business Practices

ACEC/L is striving to accomplish this through the development of a business outreach program, providing business education, and assisting other professional industry organizations in the business of engineering.
Is your firm taking advantage of all the membership benefits ACEC/L offers?
BUSINESS FORUM: REGISTER, ATTEND, GROW
May 17th ACEC/L will hold its first Business Forum to provide business education to our ACEC members and our partner professional associations: AIA of Louisiana and the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Southeast Louisiana.

To provide value to our ACEC/L members, we have been working hard to bring quality educational programs through Project Outlook, Emerging Leaders Institute, Critical Issues Summit, and frequent lunch meetings around Louisiana with key speakers who affect our industry.

We've also recognized that not everyone gets to attend the ACEC National conferences that are full of great speakers with valuable topics pertaining to the business of engineering. Additionally, many member firms cannot send their key leaders to ACEC business training programs such as Emerging Leaders Institute, The Business of Design Consulting, Pathways to Executive Leadership, or Senior Executive Institute.

ACEC/L took this into consideration and has developed an affordable one-day Business Forum that will be held at the Renaissance Hotel in Baton Rouge on May 17th. The Forum is a day of business and leadership education as it pertains to our industry.

Speakers for the Forum have been chosen who present at the ACEC National Conferences and other business training programs across the country.  June Jewell DeWayne Ables , Matt Connor, and   David Stone  will be bringing new and exciting ideas and solutions for topics such as Operation Management, Personnel/Leadership Management, Business/Market Development, and Work-Life Balance challenges.

ACEC/L was able to bring this great list of talent to Baton Rouge for a one-day Forum for significantly less than the normal conference registration to you. . I encourage you to attend and bring the key leaders in your organization to learn more about the "Business Side of Engineering."

I look forward to seeing you there.
