Bio

Beth Hammack is an Oklahoma City artist with a background in math, art, jewelry, and interior design. Utilizing her art background in classical European life drawing, Beth combines her graphite loose drawing style, math thinking, and design instincts to give imagination to her unique self-evolving painting style. Currently, Beth is focusing on larger scaled abstracts both in acrylics and oils on canvas using a layer on layer building format. Coming from her experience with interior design, she paints toward an eclectic mix for interiors that keeps the mind tantalized and interested. She also enjoys oil painting realistic portraits and still lifes.

Educationally, Beth graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and numerous hours in the Oklahoma University Art School in the 1960's. She also has studied at the Chicago Art Institute and the London City School of Arts. In the 1980's, Beth was a founder and designer for a national sterling jewelry line named ZAGAL. Beth eagerly looks forward to many hours of fun at her easel and loves the opportunity to follow her art passion.
