Featured AJAS Business Partner
Expense Consulting
(Bloomfield, CT)

What long-term care organization isn't looking to reduce expenses? Review any long-term planning document and you'll find that cost cutting is a priority. Expense Consulting has met so many leaders of organizations who through desperation are forced to slash jobs and cut patient programming to ease pressure. However, thoughtful cost cutting can be a springboard to healthier financials, which in turn can allow for better programming and improved care.

Here is one example of the many AJAS members who have chosen to partner with Expense Consulting and are now realizing significant benefits.

Jewish War Veterans to Be Honored at Arlington
AJAS
(Washington, D.C.)

This fall, AJAS is planning a trip to Arlington National Cemetery to lay a wreath at the Tomb of The Unknown Solider by Jewish war veterans from AJAS communities.

The ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 13 at 3:15 pm. We will transport residents in buses directly up to the Tomb Area. AJAS will keep members informed as we make plans for the ceremony.

Four individuals will lay the wreath at Arlington but all are welcome to attend this prestigious event. The Tomb guard will announce that the wreath laying honors Jewish war veterans and is sponsored by the Association of Jewish Aging Services.

Generally these trips are done in one day. The AJAS office will coordinate transportation and other logistics in Washington.
Please let us know if you are considering bringing residents to DC for this event.

Watch this YouTube video of an event for more information. Our residents will come in from the sides and not have to negotiate steps.
