Jim Versweyveld joined UW-Extension as the Walworth County Agriculture Educator, on November 5, 2018. A Walworth County resident, Jim holds a Bachelors in Animal Science from Cornell University and a Masters in Occupational Safety from UW-Whitewater. In addition to his dairy and farm management background, he has experience in agribusiness leadership, safety program development, and human resources management.
The University of Wisconsin agricultural extension service offers technical advice to farmers, and also supplies them with the necessary inputs and services to support their agricultural production. It provides information to farmers and equips farms with new techniques developed by university researchers and agricultural research stations.
