More than 60 attend Yoga event to benefit Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County at Monmouth Racetrack

Freehold, NJ -  On April 22, Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County and DNB Events hosted an Earth Day Yoga Event at the Monmouth Race Track. The event featured local Yoga instructors - Chrisanne Milko from Monmouth Beach Yoga & Wellness, DonnaLyn Giegrich of Yoga on the Lake Summer Series and Vanessa Van Noy from Synergy Hot Yoga.
 
"This event has grown exponentially since last year, it's a great way to help promote the mission of Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County in a unique and fun way. The support around this event from the Yoga community has been amazing," said Donna Beriont, DNB Events. 

More than 60 attendees joined special guests Megan Callus of Ignitable Fitness and Dina Hafner of Kinetric Wellness give opening remarks about stretching and nutrition. After the 60-minute yoga session, guests enjoyed a wine tasting hosted by Buy Rite of Holmdel and a special trunk show from Athleta of Shrewsbury.
 
The event serves as the kick-off to Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County's annual series of Women Build events including How-To Workshops at Lowes, Women Build Days that are sold out, culminates at the annual A Taste for Homes event at the Oyster Point Hotel on May 21.
