Letter from CCIA
A new year means one thing in Colorado: a new legislative session. As usual, our team is in the thick of it, advocating for a wide range of bills supporting cleantech and clean energy. Policy expert Chris Votoupal of VGA (Votoupal Government Affairs) represents CCIA and is full-time at the capital through the term, which began on January 5, 2019.

You can follow CCIA's efforts on our website session overview and bill tracker page .

Updated regularly, the website tracks bills as they go through committee, to the floor of the chambers, to the governor's desk in some cases.

Other bills we follow because we are in opposition, like the deceptively titled "California Motor Vehicle Emissions Standards" bill, which seeks to PROHIBIT Colorado from adopting air quality control standards more stringent than federal standards.

Check out the bill tracker and don't hesitate to be in touch if you're interested in being more involved in CCIA's policy efforts.

Sincerely,
CCIA
