Trans Name & Gender Marker Changes Clinic

Free clinic for transgender and non-binary individuals seeking name and/or gender-marker changes on official documents.
Based on recent demand, we are going to pilot having the Clinic twice monthly for the first part of the year - the second Tuesday and fourth Wednesday of the month for January through March.

Coming Out Group

The Coming Out group is a place to meet and gain support while discussing your sexual and/or gender Identities in a confidential setting. This group is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, straight, or questioning folks who are coming out, considering coming out or may already be out. Topics are determined by group participants and can include stress, fear, anxiety, loneliness, family/cultural issues, excitement and celebration with regard to coming out. The group is open to new members the first 3 meetings of each quarter and then closes to maintain safe space.

Cultivando Conciencia Film Series #2: DOCUMENTED
Jan. 16 | 6:00 - 9:00 PM | Price Center Theater
The film is centered around Jose Antonio Vargas, an undocumented immigrant who becomes an activist, and his journey to reconnect with his family.
The purpose of the program is to help participants gain a better understanding of one of the multiple struggles that Asian Americans face, and find commonalities between the Latinx/Chicanx and Asian American community.

Wanting to Make A Career TRANSition?

May Kearney is the Graduate Peer Educator for the Career Center and a nonbinary trans person who uses They/Them pronouns. They will be holding this workshop to host an open discussion about being trans or nonbinary while navigating the world of interviews and career searches. This workshop is meant to help other trans people find a way to express themselves while also implementing preventative measures to ensure they will be safe during their career search.
Food will be provided at the event.
