HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We hope that 2019 is off to a great start for all! We at FC have been hard at work closing out a very busy and successful 2018. We are thrilled to say that this past year brought in over 30 new members with projects as diverse as the experience levels of the filmmakers. Together, our membership raised over $3 million in funding for their films and we could not be more thrilled to have played a role in having their stories shared with the world! We look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming workshops, screenings and networking events.

Persistent Productions
Meghan is an award winning documentary film director and producer. She began her career in film at Washington Media Associates as a researcher for "Peter Jennings: Reporting on Guantamnamo," the first long-form television investigation into the Bush Administration's detention and interrogation policies. From these beginnings Meghan has continued to work on research and cause-based media programming and pair that with her background in the arts. Together with her partner, in business and in marriage, Mike Rogers, Meghan heads up Persistent Productions which has offices in Massachusetts and Singapore. The driving force of Persistent Productions is to meld the art and science of storytelling in order to inform and inspire. MORE ON THE TEAM..

FC Academy is now hiring Instructors

FC Academy is an after-school and vacation week filmmaking program that was started by Filmmakers Collaborative in 2016.  We strongly believe that introducing middle and high school students to the latest technology and filmmaking techniques - as well as giving them a vehicle for expressing themselves creatively - will provide them with invaluable tools for their academic futures and beyond.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Filmmakers Collaborative (FC) has provided an array of resources and fiscal sponsorship for the independent filmmaking community for the past 30 years. We are proud that we have served as the fiscal sponsor for hundreds of films, including numerous award-winners, at a cost that remains among the lowest in the country.

All of FC's programs are as unique as our member base. We offer vital opportunities to empower young, aspiring, media makers just starting out on their careers while also providing the vital resource of fiscal sponsorship to award-winning producers at the top of their craft. Both will ultimately produce films that will screen in living rooms, theaters and museums around the world.
