Step back to the '50s & '60s during a live concert with Dr. Rock and the Rollers, featuring Darry Hood as Dr. Rock with back-up vocals from the Doo-Wop Girls.

The five-piece, local band brings back the good times with classic hits that shine a light on the golden era of rock 'n' roll.

This free concert is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Hancock County Public Library.

Many cultural objects are cared for in ways that may not properly preserve them for future generations. Anthropologist Dr. Holly Cusack-McVeigh will discuss methods to better care for family collections like historic photographs, paintings, vintage clothing, antique furniture and other heirlooms.

Christopher Hinchcliffe, brother of Indy 500 driver James Hinchcliffe, will discuss his novel Chasing Checkers. The book is fictional, based on true details and stories adapted from his brother's rise to the biggest race in his life.
