January 2019
Dear Habitat Friend,

Happy New Year! I am so excited for all we will accomplish together in 2019. This year will bring the completion of our work on School Street in Acton and we'll celebrate with Ray, Sheryl, Amina, Violet and their children as they move into their homes. We will begin building two new homes on beautiful lots on Lake Shore Drive in Ashburnham, continue our permitting and site planning work in Stow, and will complete another dozen or more critical home repairs. Thanks to all of you who responded to our year-end appeal, we'll have the funds to start the year off strong and help even more families in need of shelter!

A big thank you to Gervais Ford for helping us find a beautiful new-to-us construction truck. Our old truck had served us well for many years but was no longer up to the task of hauling materials to our sites. And thank you to Add-A-Sign as well, for making it ours by adding our name and logo to the truck.

Thanks again to First Church in Sterling for helping us with a critical home repair project in Fitchburg, and Ray and his crew as well as Solar Design Associates for assisting with roofing projects (one is shown in the picture above) in Maynard and Fitchburg. Our village is amazing!

2019 promises to be a year of hope as we continue to grow the number of families we serve and strive towards our vision of making our world one where everyone has a decent place to live.
In partnership,
Carolyn

Join the shopping adventure!
The ReStore is our discount home improvement center. We accept donations of new and gently used items from individuals and local businesses, and sell to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50-70% of the original retail value. All profits support home ownership for hard working, low income families in North Central Massachusetts, while keeping good, reusable materials in use and out of the landfill.
Open Wednesday through Saturday, 10am-5pm.
