September Meeting
There will be no September meeting of the Homestead NA.
The October or November agendas will include a presentation by OHSU for a "concept plan" for the SW Connector. This is the plan for a pedestrian connection from the proposed light rail system on Barbur up to OHSU.
The Homestead NET (Neighborhood Emergency Response Team) will begin meeting soon and will provide updates at our monthly meetings.
Check the Homestead Website at the end of the month for the upcoming meeting agenda. http://www.homesteadna.org
2018 Homestead Picnic
Over 120 residents attended the Homestead Picnic. It was a great evening. Several of our police officers from the Neighborhood Response Team were there. Officer Jacobsen attended with his partner, and Jenni Pullen, Crime Prevention Coordinator stopped by. The Chief's Office sent two officers as well. Friends of Terwilliger attended as well as the Portland Garden Club. Their presence was appreciated.
Thanks to all who served on a team and to all who simply pitched in where needed. If you have suggestions or want to help next year, email [email protected].
