Grandview Gallery Opening
Please join us at our opening reception of Bulldog & Brushstrokes by Jeff Stumhofer on  May 10 from 5-7:30 pm.  This exhibit is a collection of new work by a 1994 Wilson High School Alumni. Jeff experiments with the interplay of color and texture.  His reaction and relationship to those experiments produce a vibrantly colorful breadth of work.  Lite refreshments to be served. Wilson Art Rocks!    #grandviewgallery #jeffstumhofer #wilsonartrocks

Southern Middle School Students Finalist in Philly Zoo UNLESS project
A group of sixth grade gifted students from Southern Middle School, who call themselves the Batty Bulldogs, have been selected as finalists in the Philadelphia Zoo's UNLESS project!  The goal of the UNLESS competition is to help reduce electricity and water consumption. In order to promote electricity savings, the Batty Bulldogs opted to run a light bulb conversion campaign titled "Get One, Give One." The campaign asked families to buy two LED light bulbs. One to install in their home and one to donate. Let's congratulate these students and wish them luck at the final ceremony on May 10th!

Congratulations to the following students on their achievements at the PA BCIU Computer Fair this year. Adith Gopal took first place in designing the Computer Fair Logo. Nina Elia and Briana Huber took second place on "Recycling For a Better Future." Aidan Berger and Matt Crump took third place with "Operant Environment." Congratulations on your outstanding achievements!

Supporting Our Students

Sponsor-A-Scholar Program
The Wilson Academic Boosters/PTO offers a program to honor graduating seniors who are members of the National Honor Society. At graduation, these seniors wear satin sashes over their graduation gowns noting their NHS membership. In years past, the sashes were "on loan" to the students during the graduation ceremony and had to be promptly removed and returned at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, often before photos could be taken. The Wilson Academic Boosters/PTO created the Sponsor-A-Scholar program to allow our honored graduates to keep their sashes as a remembrance of their outstanding achievements. Click here for the form or to learn more.
4th Annual Elementary Reading Olympics
The fourth annual Elementary Reading Olympics is right around the corner. This exciting event will be held Wednesday, May 16, at Southern Middle School.
