Join us for our current teaching series called, "Different". As we start this New Year most of us are hoping to be "different" from last year. In this teaching series we will look at how we can be different from the rest of the world though Christ-like character.

It’s Mittens, Hats, Socks and Underwear time! All kids lose stuff, fall in puddles, and need a warm rescue. We help several neighborhood schools and any place serving children with a stash of warm “rescue” clothes. Gently-used, clean coats (toddler to adult) are needed now.
Knitters and shoppers, put your donations in the marked baskets on the table in the lobby. Remember, kids come in all sizes! If you'd rather give $$, mark your check or envelope Warm Hearts-Mittens and we will shop for you. Thanks for your warm hearts!

Tonight Ben Blake is making Black Eyed Peas and corn bread...YUM! We will eat between 5:30-6 and then head downtown to put the hats and other warm items made by Common Treads on the Presidents and end with hot chocolate at Alternative Fuel.
Thursday we are meeting early for small group (5:30-6:30) at Dunn Bros and then we are headed to VOTA at First United Methodist Church (downtown). We saw this group at DAKYOUTH and they were awesome!
The Senior High are always looking for people to help with the breakfast they host on Sundays. If you are interested please contact the SH leader Melissa Shoop.

We will be watching short 10-minute videos from best-selling author Rob Bell and exploring how and where our faith and lives meet. If you have any questions, please contact Tracy Kloster.
NEW ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Have you been craving a deeper dive into the Scripture? Do you wonder if or how the Bible is still relevant to your life? In this group, we'll walk together through books of the Bible examining what they really say and why it matters for us. Whether you don't even own a Bible or if you've been studying the Bible all your life - this group will help you grow! We will meet in Classroom 5 (back of the Choir room) starting Sunday.

Tonight at 6:00 pm in Classroom 2 is Puppet Night! They will be putting together a puppet show about being respecting each other. This puppet show will be performed on Sunday, January 27th. If your kiddo is not into puppets they will have some fun games to play.
Dinner tonight is tomato soup and grilled cheese in the Christian Life Center at 5:30 pm.

Winter Connection for Youth/Youth 2019: Love Well
|
|
Winter Connection is January 25-26 at Storm Mountain. Winter Connection is an opportunity for youth to gather together, share, worship, and serve others. Registration is Friday evening between 7-8 and concludes Saturday at 3:30. Cost is $40 and that includes 2 meals and an activity. **Our own Pastor Brett is preaching at this event!**

Brunch Bunch - Jan 19th at 8:30 am in Classroom 2. They will want everyone to bring their favorite daily devotion to share.
UMW Unit Gathering - February 2nd at 11:30 am in Classroom 2. Morning Glories circle will be the hostesses.
UMW Sunday is March 9th and 10th! Please contact Judy Lindskov (605-431-0400) if you can serve on the committee to help plan this service. This is their 150th year as an organization, so they want it to be a very special day!

A grief support group, led by Nancy Michlitsch and Pastor DeAnn meets Tuesday, January 22. This group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:00 pm in Classroom 1.
