Win an Odeon Star Cinema family pass

This year we're making it easier to find fantastic new titles and discover your next favourite authors in the Semaphore Library collection.

But first, we'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas via a short online survey (you can also fill in a survey at the library.) Every survey completed is a chance to win an Odeon Star Cinema family pass!

By taking part, you're helping to shape our collection and ensuring that Semaphore Library continues to entertain, educate, and inspire the community.

Fill in the survey here for your chance to win.
Meet our official library celebrity!
Sue Van Der Veer

Our own Sue van der Veer is adjusting to life as an international celebrity, after being named a "2019 Mover And Shaker" by the US Library Journal.

Sue was lauded for her innovative youth programs, dedication to STEM, and for developing the coveted Parks Library Makerspace. She is the brains behind Texpo, and the mastermind of Steminists - a series of fun STEM programs for girls and young women.

"My job is about connecting with the community, empowering people, and making sure that everyone has the opportunity to explore their creativity," Sue said. We couldn't be more proud!
