In behalf of HealthImpact and LANRC Advisory Team, we wish you a Happy New Year!  We are grateful for your partnership and we look forward to working with you in the new year 2019.

2018 marked our 10th year of using the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) in Los Angeles region and we want to acknowledge your commitment in working together to coordinate and improve the clinical placement process.

The annual invoice covering Jan-Dec 2019 will be sent out electronically to participating schools and clinical agencies this month. There is no cost increase from the past year. 

Most clinical facilities, RN and LVN schools have completed schedules for Spring/Summer 2019 in CCPS and all pending requests should be completed this month. We will begin to process clinical placement requests for the Fall/Winter 2019 period.

January 28 - February 15, 2019
Clinical facilities review and update availability in preparation for schools to submit fall/winter 2019 requests

February 19 - March 8, 2019 
(Submit preceptor requests by April 12)
Schools submit clinical placement requests for courses that start Mid August 2019 through the end of the fall or winter terms (courses that usually end by December 31st) 

March 11 - March 29, 2019
(Preceptor decisions due May 3)
Clinical facilities review proposed requests from schools and make placement decisions. Clinical facilities are encouraged to review and accept historical placements first.

How do I add a new user?
Existing CCPS Coordinators provide access to new users for each of their sites.
  • Select Team from the left-hand menu, then click the green Invite New Admin button. 
  • Enter one or more email addresses separated with a comma then click the Send Invite button.
  • New User - login to your email and complete the registration to gain access to CCPS
How do I remove a user?
  • Select Team from the left-hand menu. 
  • In the list of users, locate the user you want to remove and click the Deactivate button. The user will no longer be able to login to their CCPS account.
  • If you need to reactivate user, click on Inactive User tab, locate user and Activate  
Tips for Clinical Agencies
At the beginning of a Placement Cycle, clinical agencies review and confirm locations, availabilities and # of students for their departments.

Adding or Editing Locations
  1. Log infto CCPS
  2. Select Locations from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click the green New Location 
  4. Enter the name of your location and then select a department descriptor and unit descriptor for the location and complete other information. 
Adding Availability
  1. Select Locations from the left-hand menu
  2. The number of availabilities for each location is listed in the Availabilities column. Click the number to view the availabilities page or click on green Availability button in the Actions column.
  3. The table on this page lists current availability for this location. Click the green Create Availability button to add new availability or click edit to make changes to an existing one.
