"Persevere with passion. Lead with kindness."
May 2, 2018

Dear Sweeny Families,

It is hard to believe but we are in our final stretch of school! We have lots of opportunities for you to be a part of our end of year celebrations. Each celebration is listed in this newsletter. One specific celebration, we want to note is Lunch on the Lawn. This is always a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate our year. You can bring your blankets and lunch chairs and enjoy lunch with other Sweeny families.

Also, next week is National Teacher Appreciation Week. We are blessed beyond measure with teachers who pour their hearts into children each and every day. We want to take this opportunity to give a shout out to our AMAZING teachers!

Again, we hope you are able to join us for our end of the year celebrations. Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to email or call us!

Find Your Voice

I April, students learned about Habit 8, Find Your Voice. This habit refers to finding your voice, or your passion, and inspiring others to find theirs.

With your child focus on:

1. Giving them extra responsibilities to help empower them.

2. Discuss what interests they have both academically and personally.

3. Encourage them to try new things to uncover hidden interests.
