Still the New Guy
I am still the New Guy - but ready to share some more of my ideas. I have found the science and power behind creativity fascinating - for self, work, business, and community. I will share some of what I have learned and encourage and ask how we (continue to) make Stafford a creative community at this next Learning Over Beer at 6 Bears & A Goat.
I want to also encourage those interested in the potential and still growing cyber community in Stafford to attend January 24th's Cyber Bytes Networking Event: The Quantum Factor in Cybersecurity.
LOB and Cyber Bytes are just two examples of private business and community leadership. To foster community, build networks, and help make Stafford a Creative Community.
Stafford. A Creative Community!?!?
People. Business. Places.

Message from Scott Mayausky, Stafford County Commissioner of the Revenue
I am pleased to announce the latest addition to Stafford County's award winning MyStafford Portal. Our office has developed the first e-filling system for tangible business property taxes in the region.
This simple e-filing system will allow you to create and maintain your business account online eliminating the cumbersome paper tax returns of the past. By maintaining your tax history in MyStafford you will not have to fill out an asset list and mail it to our office every year. By simply logging into your account you can add or delete items with the click of a mouse or upload an asset list and send it to us electronically.
For more information, please visit our Commissioner of the Revenue webpage and click on the E-Filing Portal link. You can find directions there or you can watch the short tutorial video. Please remember that these forms are due February 15th and a proper filing is one of the requirements for the Business Certificate.
