If you are interested in potentially helping with the Spring Celebration, please check out our sign-up page at
and then join us at the Uetrecht-Stevens house at 6pm on Friday, January 18th for details and drinks!
Does your New Year’s Resolution include something along the lines of “…get involved” or “…give back” or “...meet more HPS families”? Involvement in HPS’s largest fundraiser - the Spring Celebration - is the perfect place to start!
Please plan to meet with us and other potential volunteers to learn more on
Friday, January 18
at
the Uetrecht-Stevens House

Keep in mind that absolutely no prior experience is necessary; there are varied roles, suiting anyone’s interests/ time constraints. Some include seeking donations from local businesses, creating raffle baskets, helping on the day of the event, and many other job options! We always have a fun group of volunteers!
Also, save the date for the seventh-annual Spring Celebration
on
Thursday, April 18
.
More details coming soon!
Thank you for considering to be a part of the Spring Celebration team! We hope to see you January 18th!

Eagle of the Week Returns
Basketball is in full swing which means, Eagle of the Week is back! This week, we would like to recognize Lily Hodge, Quinn Bowers, Avery Leimbach, Anna Vierecke and Rita Mucha. On Saturday, January 5th these girls started their game with just 4 players. Even with the arrival of a 5
th
player, that still meant no substitutions and no breaks! By the end of the game all of the girls were exhausted. They played a scrappy, hard fought game and ended up losing a close contest, yet there wasn't a single complaint. They sprinted up and down the court against an opponent that ran 2 full lines. They played as team, worked hard and never gave up. Coaches Chris Mucha and Blake Bowers are very proud of their effort, poise and attitude. And so are we! You ladies define what it means to be Eagle of the Week. Congrats.

Practices are tentatively scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at 5:30 (at Walnut Hills HS) beginning February 19 - May 23.
