WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES STARTING THIS WEEK: Our women's Bible studies start  tonight and tomorrow morning! Both studies meet in the Lower Auditorium.

The Women's Tuesday Night Bible Study, on 1 & 2 Peter, starts tonight at 7 p.m. Bring your Bible for this 4-week, in-depth study. For more information, contact Bev McLeod @ careyandbevmcleod@yahoo.com.

The Women's Wednesday Morning Bible Study, on "The Armor of God" by Priscilla Shirer, starts tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. The cost for the study book is $15, and the study runs through April. For more information, contact Pat McCauley at  ptmc67@sbcglobal.net.
NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN ALPHA: The second week of the 10-session Alpha course, continues this Sunday, at 11 a.m. in the Lower Auditorium - please note the location change! Legacy Builders is hosting this series that explores the Christian faith! Each session looks at a different question regarding the faith, and is designed for conversation. CONNECT GROUPS: Want to make deeper relationships at Emmanuel? Then consider joining a "Connect" group on  Mondays (at the home of Randy and Connie Karman -  1604 N. Niagara St., Burbank), or  Thursdays (at the home of Key and Cheri Payton -  1214 N. Ontario St., Burbank). MARRIAGE MENTOR TRAINING: Using the "Dare to Be Different" method, training to become a Marriage Mentor will take place in February (time and dates to be determined). If you and your spouse want to attend this training, please contact Connie Karman at  connie@emmanuelburbank.org.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING:  Save the date for our next congregational meeting on Sun., Jan 27, at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. At this meeting there will be further discussion, comments, and a vote on the proposed, revised church governance documentsThe proposed, revised church articles of incorporation, constitution, and bylaws are available for review. These proposed, revised versions reflect the congregational input we received since the last version was made available in the Fall. Hard copies of these revised documents are available in the church foyer and office. A PDF version can be emailed, by contacting Mark Letts at  mark@emmanuelburbank.org .
