2019: Another Year to Accelerate the Advancement of Women
On August 28 we shared our new look and expanded vision from the main stage in Indianapolis, and made a promise to you to be a resource all year long. Last month
we reflected on the strides we made together in 2018 - through impactful conferences, interactive workshops, and valuable partnerships - and all the lessons we learned along the way. Now it's time to build on all of that to make an even bigger impact for YOU.
As we approach our 10th annual conference in Indianapolis, our 5th annual conference in Louisville, and more work throughout the year to move the needle on gender equity, we hope you'll make IWL a part of your milestone year. We'd love to be a part of your story!
We've already got "Better Together" and "The Imbalance of Power" workshops on the calendar for 2019, and looking forward to helping organizations with their own inclusion and diversity initiatives.
If you are interested in bringing and IWL custom workshop to your company, contact IWL CEO Kim Graham Lee at [email protected], or call our office at 317-975-3928.

"'
For me, IWL has been more than a once a year conference. IWL has been a powerful resource for development that has pushed me outside of my self-imposed boundaries. IWL has taught me to challenge the world around me with strength and compassion. IWL has allowed me to try and fail and try again without making me feel incompetent. IWL has been an amazing partner and I can't imagine what my life would have been if that glorious day in March 2016 wouldn't have happened.

Last month you asked yourself, "Am I happy with how I've spent my time? What lessons have I learned? Who and what am I grateful for?"
Now that your new year has started, have you made adjustments based on your answers? It's easy to feel overwhelmed with the never-ending to-do list of the new year, plus the added pressure of accomplishing resolutions. That's why this month, we're focusing on the theme
Reset.
This month we challenge you to rethink your norms and reset expectations. Set goals that you feel excited about, rather than ones you feel like you should be setting. Set your focus for the month, and any time you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed, take 10 seconds to breathe and reset your focus. Once you
reset, you'll be in the right mindset to achieve that goal you set - and even with a small step, that much closer to making this your milestone year!
