Thank You for Supporting AIISF! Final Opportunity to Contribute to Our 2019 End of Year Campaign
Thank you to all of you who have already made a year-end donation to AIISF or have previously supported us this year! We are a small organization that thrives only with the partnership of generous, community-minded people like you.

Our work to connect the lessons of Angel Island to the present day has never been more crucial. We would greatly appreciate any level of support that you can provide as we close out 2019.

With our continued planning for next year's opening of the Pacific Coast Immigration Center, your support can help us ensure that the opening day celebration is free, entertaining, and meaningful for the 2,000 visitors we hope will join us!

Supporting Immigrants: Then and Now
Join us for this evening panel on January 21, 2020 which is taking place on the 110th Anniversary of the opening of the Angel Island Immigration Station (January 21, 1910). This day is also recognized as the third annual National Day of Racial Healing – a national day created by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to remember and acknowledge our nation’s complex histories and to find opportunities to ensure that every person is valued and respected. This panel is co-sponsored by the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation and the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) .

Come learn more about the history of how communities have banded together to support newly arrived immigrants and to help them get acclimated and oriented to their new lives in the U.S. You’ll have the opportunity to compare and contrast these histories with current day efforts to advance immigrant health on a national level and to support new arrivals in the Bay Area.
