 Dear McCulloch Families,
      We are so excited for the second semester at McCulloch and all of the AMAZING things our leaders will continue to do in 2019!
      Your leaders will be bringing home Student Leadership Notebooks the last week of January. Please watch for more information as you will get an opportunity to discuss your child's celebrations and goals they have set.
       We will have an opportunity coming soon for parents to participate in The Leader in Me family training. These will happen once a month in the evenings for families committed to learning more about how to utilize the 7 Habits at home. Please watch for more information coming home soon!

Tiger Time
Starting Monday, January 7, we will be meeting with our learners each day, Monday-Wednesday and Friday, from 8:45-9:15 am. McCulloch Leaders will continue to receive direct instruction on the skills they need to grow as a learner. All staff will continue to support our learners, including aides, special teachers, counselors, and administrators. Your child may rotate to different classrooms to receive this support. Our staff felt like since this is a "Big Rock" at our building, the morning would be a more productive time. We are looking forward to this continued opportunity for all of our learners.

McCulloch Leader Day 
February 22
Our Second Annual McCulloch Leader Day is coming up fast. Here is the link for parents to sign-up to join us. Make sure and sign-up soon, as we are limited on the number of participants that can join us for this amazing day. 

Our leaders will be studying Habit #5: Seek First to Understand and Then to Be Understood.during the month of January. Our Leaders of the Month for January will be students that are showing these behaviors at school. Our next leader assembly is Wednesday, January 30.
Student Achievements
We want our leaders showing their 7 Habits in all areas of life! If your child has an accomplishment outside of the school day, we would love to celebrate them. Please send an email to [email protected] with information and a picture, and we will celebrate them during our Morning Community Time.
BSIP
Attendance Goal Updates

We are making progress towards our BSIP goals. Our current proportional attendance is 95.57%. Remember our goal is to have our leaders here 96% or more of the time. This includes being here on time and staying the entire day without leaving late for bell to bell instruction. Our Great 98 Celebration for February will be decorating a cookie.
