Shabbat Kulanu and Youth Shabbat
Saturday, February 2
Shabbat Kulanu is Shabbat programming on the first Saturday morning of every month for Pre-K-6th grade students and families. Since the goal of Shabbat Kulanu is to bring families together on Shabbat to Bet Torah, it is wonderful that this year, Youth Shabbat falls on a Shabbat Kulanu!

On Youth Shabbat, most of the Shabbat morning service will be led by teens, with some roles for tweens as well (as has been the tradition in the past). Our younger students will see them leading on the bimah. Hey (5) and Vav (6) students will begin with Shabbat Kulanu (upstairs) then move to the sanctuary to help lead part of Youth Shabbat. Younger children may attend junior congregation (2nd-4th) or Gan Shabbat (PreK-1st) or sit with their family in the sanctuary.

Youth Shabbat includes Friday night as well as Shabbat morning and families are encouraged to attend both.
Social Action Project
As part of Youth Shabbat this year, we're collecting stuffed animals and other toys to be donated.

Boxes will be out in the Mitzvah Cabinet across from Gina's office after MLK day.
We'll be collecting until the week after Youth Shabbat.
Parent Volunteers
Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2
We need parents to clean up and set up both for Friday night dinner and Kiddush on Saturday.
