The Detroit Jazz Festival All-Star band
opens the bandstand for musicians of all ages to sit-in and share jazz in the time-honored jam session tradition.
President and Artistic Director Chris Collins will be on hand to check out all the artists.

The House Band for this jam session includes: Marion Hayden, Cliff Monear, Dwight Adams and Nate Winn.

Known for his dual horn playing technique, recording artist Rayse Biggs is one of the most dynamic horn players today. Often referred to as Trumpeter Extraordinaire, Rayse has received local and national commendations for his contribution to music. He continues to be sought out to accompany other artists, including Kid Rock, Fred Hammond, Alexander Zonjic and Kem.
Guitarist Ron English is a well-respected member of Detroit's music community. He has helped shape contemporary Jazz styles since the 1960's with a diverse repertoire covering Jazz , Blues, Avant-garde, Motown, Soul/Funk and Gospel.
