MAFP's Capitol Day is Wednesday,
January 30! To help foster relationships, we encourage you to ask other family docs in your area to ride with you to Jackson for the morning, afternoon or entire day. Simply put, we are asking you to CRAM your CAR for CAPITOL Day and CARPOOL. The MAFP has set a goal of 50 family physicians to attend our advocacy event.
Our theme will be "Family Medicine Is..." to educate legislators and staff on who you are and what you mean to the community. This special day will kick off our 70-year anniversary of the MAFP, so we need you there to celebrate with us. Register today!

Boswell Regional Center in Magee Seeks Family Physician
Paid advertisement.
Boswell Regional Center, a Mississippi Department of Mental Health Facility that serves approximately 100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a beautiful, historic campus setting, is seeking a full-time family physician.
Boswell, conveniently located just minutes from U.S. 49 (45 minutes from both Jackson and Hattiesburg), is a physician-friendly center offering a supportive, collaborative working environment for its team of healthcare providers.
Family-friendly hours, excellent support staff and clinical operating efficiencies combined with two community hospitals located within a few miles of the center make this a desirable position for a physician looking for a better quality of life.
Very competitive salary, including State of Mississippi benefits and retirement plan, generous personal and medical leave and 10-12 paid holidays per year.
Viable candidates must show proof of graduation from an accredited School of Medicine with a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy degree and be licensed to practice medicine as a physician in the State of Mississippi.
