You Are Invited to the
NSSRA Annual Member Meeting
The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the first day of the Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show, Wednesday, January 30, in Room 505 of the Colorado Convention Center (the same room as last year). Meet the NSSRA Board of Directors and bring your questions, concerns and issues. This is an ideal opportunity to find out what's new in your association and to meet with fellow specialty snow sports retailers. There will be refreshments afterward for a casual networking opportunity.

NSSRA's Booth at the Show
We are fortunate to have been assigned an easy-to-find booth location at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Our booth number is 32001-UL, which is the same location as last year. Major Takeaways from the 2019 FedEx and UPS Rate Increases
FedEx and UPS rates are going up in 2019, and it's more important than ever that you know how to mitigate the impact to your business. Here are a few things you should know about the changes to come:
  1. FedEx and UPS small package rates are increasing an average of 4.9% - effective January 7, 2019 and December 26, 2018 respectively.
  2. Your actual costs will vary. Depending on the service you use and your package characteristics, you could see increases above or below the average.
  3. Many common surcharges are also increasing. On top of the base rates, you need to be aware of the charges that apply to your shipments and how they'll affect your total costs.
PartnerShip®, the benefit provider that manages the NSSRA Shipping Program, has analyzed the FedEx and UPS increases so you can accurately prepare for the new year. Download the free white paper to see a breakdown of where you'll find the highest increases and get a simplified explanation of the complicated changes you need to be aware of.

Christy Sports  has selected Jesta I.S. as its end-to-end foundational retail suite to support its expansion. The first phase of the implementation is complete with Jesta's Financials, Merchandising, POS, Mobile, Gift Card and Loyalty modules currently operational. Christy Sports also will implement Jesta's Warehouse Management and Analytics solutions, both of which will advance its goal of attaining real-time inventory management across the company's in-store and online banners. "With our continued growth and acquisitions, Christy Sports needed a partner to work with us from beginning to end to provide a complete omnichannel software solution and also ensure robust implementation and service," said Matt Gold, Christy Sports CEO.
