Jack Gosnell, Chair of the CAWA Board of Directors, Appoints Two Industry Veterans to the Association's Manufacturers' Advisory Council
(Sacramento, CA - January 3, 2019)  
In the last days of his term, CAWA Chair of the Board, Jack Gosnell of Next Level Parts, has appointed two industry veterans to the Association's Manufacturers' Advisory Council (MAC). When Chair Gosnell announced these appointments he commented, "It's great to see our members step forward and participate in CAWA's leadership". "We know and appreciate the contributions these auto care industry veterans will make to the future successes of the Association and the industry we serve". 

The appointees are: 
  • Christian Eichstaedt of Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, and 
  • Shawn Sheehan of Dorman Products
Mr. Eichstaedt is currently with Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America as Head of Aftermarket Sales and responsible for aftermarket sales for OE replacement, tuning and light truck performance programs. Previously he was Director of Product Management - European Carlines for Interamerican Motor Corporation (IMC) and responsible for leading the team of product managers for the European programs including responsibility for the in-house web catalog content targeting independent European specialist installer shops in the United States. His other experience in automotive included Carline Manager for Mercedes-Benz and BMW programs at Import Specialist IMC. He also built the US subsidiary for German Exporter for Heavy Duty OEM and aftermarket parts servicing German engines (Daimler, MTU, KHD, Liebherr, MAN) in the US market after leaving a sales support position, based in Germany, for OEM Kolbenschmidt for EMEA markets. Mr. Eichstaedt has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg, Germany. His spare time is spent with family, traveling, enjoying canyon roads in his MINI Cooper and attending dirt track races. He is married, has one son and is based in San Diego, California.

Mr. Sheehan has been involved in the Automotive Aftermarket in Sales and Management positions since 1988. He has worked for several manufactures including: Dayco, R&B Inc., KYB America, Tenneco Automotive and Dorman Products. Mr. Sheehan has worked in various roles in his career including Territory Manager, Area Sales Manager, and is currently the Western Zone Sales Manager of Traditional business for Dorman Products. As the Western Zone Sales Manager he is responsible for 11 western states. Earlier on in his career, he also worked at One Stop Parts Source as their Sales Manager. Mr. Sheehan believes with his wide range of experience at the manufacturing segment of the industry, as well as warehouse distribution, that he would make a great addition to the CAWA's leadership and future of the Association.
