Stuff the Bus Success
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We so greatly appreciate all who came to KROGER July 28th to our STUFF THE BUS event and made a donation of school supplies. We had quite a haul and we are grateful for every pencil! Over 300 backpacks were distributed to Dawson County students, setting them up for a successful school year!

Special thanks extended to Kroger, Associated Credit Union, Zaxby's and the many volunteers of Mountain Lake Church and Browns Bridge Church who made this event and distribution so successful!

  Stand Up For Children
The last award given at the 2018 ESPY'S was given to the 140 sexual abuse victims, now survivors of USA gymnastics doctor Larry Nasar for their amazing show of COURAGE. One survivor said if  only ONE adult had believed and taken action; the hundreds of ladies on the stage would not have been abused. Be that ONE!

Talking to your child about underage drinking isn't that scary
Be sure your child knows your expectations and the consequences that go along with underage drinking; you can use every day opportunities to talk with them, having lots of small conversations will go a long way.
