Current Events

Worship Flowers
The worship flowers for this Sunday's service were donated by the Nielsen family in celebration of Kathy's 80th birthday (March 23). All are invited to share birthday cake with the Nielsen family between services. God's blessings on your special day, Kathy!

Milestone Ministry
Due to last week's snow and service cancellation, the driver's milestone will take place in April. Stay tuned for more details!

Adult Education Opportunity
Jenna Miller, a member of the LADC staff, will be speaking in the Library today between services. Her talk is titled "Positive Behavior Strategies at Home." This talk will be of special interest to parents and grandparents, but all are welcome!

Call Committee
Please pray for Redeemer's call committee who were installed at last Sunday's worship service. The call committee members include Lee Lundgren, Ann Oien, Darren Kaltved, Mike Semonick, Kay Kuehn, Brian Adams, and (alternates) Casey McCloy, Marta Stoeckel-Rogers, and Tim Rogers. A huge thanks goes out to the call committee for taking on this important task of finding a new lead pastor for our congregation.

Update from the Call Committee
We will be providing members a time to nominate candidates to the synod for consideration. This opportunity will begin now and end on March 17. What is needed is: candidate name, city and state, current position, the reason for the recommendation, and your contact info in case they cannot locate the candidate you are nominating. Contact Krista Lind at 651-224-4313 or email [email protected]. You can also put your nomination in a sealed envelope and drop it in Mike Semonick's church mailbox.

Pet Memorial Service
If you've ever loved a pet-whatever that creature may have been-you know the pain of having to say, "good bye." The death of a beloved pet is one of the hardest things to bear, yet too often it does not receive the attention it deserves. On Sunday, March 31 at 5:00 PM in the Sanctuary, we will celebrate our pets' lives, mourn their deaths, and give thanks to God the Creator of all things living. Through scripture, music, prayers, and the lighting of candles, we will honor our pets, share memories, and support one another in our grief. Please bring a picture of your pet with you name and phone number clearly written on the back. Questions? Please call Pastor Candee at 651-429-5411, ext. 12 or email [email protected]

Lent Worship
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM.
