STEM Welcomes New Board of Trustees Member, Beth Search.
Kettering, OH, 9/20/2018 -

The Dayton Regional STEM School welcomes new Board of Trustees member, Beth Search.

Ms. Search currently stands as the Executive Director of Operations, Information Systems with Kettering Health Network. Her extensive background with Kettering Health Network, as well as her ten year span at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, gives Search expert-level insight into the STEM fields.

"We couldn't be happier to have Beth join us this year," said Robin Fisher, DRSS Superintendent. "From the very beginning of our partnership with Beth, she hit the ground running. Her enthusiasm and generosity with her resources have been a testament to her dedication to the future of the school."

Ms. Search is an actively engaged member of her community. In addition to the new Board of Trustees position, she serves as a board member to St. Anne's Hill Historical Society and MonDay County Correctional Facility. Her professional memberships include Project Management Institute and CHIME (College Healthcare Information Management Executives). In addition to her professional memberships, Search regularly works with Dayton girl's after-school mentoring program, On Purpose Academy.

"Beth's connections span not just in healthcare or information technology, but all across the board, which will open the door to new and unique opportunities for our students," said Fisher.

Having worked her way through the many levels of industry, her broadened scope of experience and numerous certifications will be invaluable to STEM students as they begin to plan for their own career journey.

"I am thankful and excited for the opportunity to serve the Dayton Regional STEM School and the supporting communities," said Search. "I believe in their mission and dedication to building students' learning, experiences and culture needed to transform the problems faced not only here in Dayton, but around the world."

Ms. Search was officially and warmly welcomed as a member of the board July 1, 2018.
