The leaves have changed. And...fallen.
You've turned on the furnace for the first time and maybe thought about stacking that chord of wood you had delivered in September. November brings with it a startling change of direction. Sturdy boots and gloves are uncovered, stews make the menu and sitting by the fire watching the latest Netflix obsession seem totally natural.
We hope the few minutes you spend with us - also - feels, totally naturally.

Reminder...Winter's Coming

Did you replace the batteries in your smoke detectors last month? October is the favorite month to do that, but did you replace the batteries in your propane fire logs units? And in your programmable thermostats?
Those batteries need to be replaced yearly - because sure as winter follows autumn, you'll turn up the heat (or turn on the logs set) and you won't get the heat you want. It happens. So, off to CVS or Home Depot and get those batteries. It will save you on the next cold night!
