Religious Education Class Times

Please note that on Sunday mornings parents and kids start worship together in our Sanctuary at 9:15/11:15.  After the Time for All Ages, kids join their RE classes downstairs.

Worship ends at 10:15/12:15. However, RE classes end at 10:30/12:30--in order to give our parents a few minutes of social time before picking kids up from class.  We ask that parents of kids 4th grade and younger pick up kids from their RE classes. Kids 5th grade and older will be dismissed from class and are instructed to find their parents.

Chili Cookoff--Save the Date
The youth will also host the annual Chili Cookoff after 2nd Service on Sunday, Jan. 27.  Watch Connections to sign up and for more details.

Note:  You must preregister your chili in order to compete in the cookoff.  All unregistered chili that enters the building on 1/27 will be grateful served and consumed.

RE NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are looking for a few volunteers at each service to volunteer in our nursery. The commitment is one hour and a half during service once or twice a month. If you enjoy playing with little ones (3 and under), reading stories, and stewarding our youngest congregants in their UU faith development, please email Leeann at lwilliams@uucava.org  for more information.
At Home Volunteers Needed

For at-home volunteer opportunities, we are looking for 3-4 crafty people to help us complete some of our Spirit Play story boxes, as we have little pieces here and there than need to replaced or added. If you like to craft and want to share these stories with your little ones at home, this is a great opportunity for you. Please email LeeAnn at lwilliams@uucava.org for more information.
Religious Education Registration
If you have not done so, please take a moment to register your child/ youth for RE classes.

Collecting Holiday Cards

Drop off holiday cards at the downstairs RE Welcome Desk. We will be using them for a project next year.  Thanks!
