FAU Tech Runway is a place where FAU researchers, faculty and staff can translate their technologies into viable products and companies; FAU undergraduate and graduate students can turn their entrepreneurial dreams into a reality; and seasoned entrepreneurs can scale their ventures into global enterprises.

A Chat Between Two Founders

Google for Startups, FAU Wave and The SilverLogic invite you to A Chat Between Two Founders, 4 – 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at FAU's Board of Trustees room on the Boca Raton Campus. The chat will include FAU Tech Runway alumnus and Two Degrees founder, Steven Fleisher; and FAU Tech Runway mentor and The SilverLogic co-founder, David Hartmann.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with like-minded entrepreneurs and hear from these two successful founders on their entrepreneurial journey and insights into launching a startup. Seating is limited.

Florida Blue Health Innovation Competition

The University of South Florida's Center for Entrepreneurship is currently accepting applications for the 2019 Florida Blue Health Innovation Competition. The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students in the state of Florida.

Winners of the competition will receive healthcare and business mentoring, as well as a $15,000 first prize, $5,000 second prize and $2,500 third prize.

Applications are due on March 24 at 11:59 p.m.

Future Leaders of Miami Tech Fellowship

The Wyncode Future Leaders of Tech Fellowship is an initiative championed by the Knight Foundation and Microsoft to provide underserved individuals in the Miami-Dade community. The initiative provides access to premier technical education and career pathways in technology. In addition, it is designed to educate, empower and cultivate the future leaders of Miami’s tech scene.

Winners will receive the full-time Full-Stack Web Development or UX/UI Design Wyncode program at no-cost. Applications are due on March 20.

Meet the Angels at FAU Tech Runway

FAU Tech Runway and Prototype House invite you to "Meet the Angels" on Friday, March 29 at FAU Tech Runway in Boca Raton. Attendees will gain exclusive access to expert advice from the region’s leading investors.

Invited groups include AGP Miami, Athenian Venture Partners, Caerus Ventures, FAN Fund, Florida Angel Nexus Palm Beach, Florida Funders, Krillion Ventures, Las Olas Venture Capital, Miami Innovation Fund, New World Angels, Tamiami Angel Fund, VoCap Investment Partners and venVelo.

In addition to general admissions tickets, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for attendees – “ Fast Pitch with the Angels.”

A select group of entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with check-writing angel investors from 4:30 – 5:20 p.m. (prior to the main event). VIP tickets are $150. To submit an application, click here.
