CSDS is thrilled to host pro
Tara Trafzer for West Coast Swing Workshops here in Charlottesville, on
Saturday, August 19th
. Tara is a full-time dance professional based in Southern California; she works out of Atomic Ballroom in Irvine, DanScene Dance Studio in Costa Mesa, and at Buddy Schwimmer's studio, The Dance Center, in Redlands. Tara has been dancing a wide range of styles from jazz and ballet to swing and ballroom since she was a child. After graduating from University of California Berkeley, she returned to Southern California to continue her career as a professional dance instructor.
Tara competes at the Champions level, and with her routine partner, Christopher Dumond, in the Classic division. Check out some of her dancing here and here!!

July Bring-A-Friend Dance Recap
Thank you to
Kristin Wenger, for teaching and DJing at another house-filled Bring-A-Friend dance, a longtime annual CSDS tradition! We hope all of our first timers had a great time, learned a few dance steps, and we look forward to seeing you again at any of our area dances!

Terri Allard and the
Charlottesville Inside-Out PBS film crew for all the time you spent with us, conducting interviews and getting footage of us in action! We can't wait to see the show in which we are featured in early 2018!
