Research Opportunities
Dear Parents/Caregiver,

My name is Sheila Bridges-Bond and I am an Associate Professor at the Communication Disorders Program at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). I am working with Dr. Siva priya Santhanam who is an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver in Colorado. We are studying what factors contribute to positive perceptions, strength, and resilience of parents of children with autism. This study received IRB approval from the North Carolina Central University.  Please reference IRB # 1201425.

We are asking parents of children with autism spectrum disorders to participate in this project by completing a few questionnaires. The questionnaire will take about 20-40 minutes of the family's time to complete online at the following weblink.
The questionnaire may be completed all at one time or saved and submitted when completed within a 10 day time period. We will compensate each participant who completes the survey by April 30, 2019 with a $20 e-gift card. If you would like to receive the $20 e-gift card for compensation, please leave your name and email address at the end of the survey.

Please feel free to pass along this e-mail to anyone you think might be interested. Interested families could directly contact me at  [email protected]  or call me at  (919)530-7299 . Parents can also e-mail Dr. Santhanam at  [email protected]  or call her at 303-615-1987.

Thank you!

Dr. Sheila Bridges-Bond and Dr. Siva priya Santhanam
