President's Message

We are hope everyone enjoyed the MEGA meeting this week! As always, the event was a great time.

We are pleased to announce that applications for the Janet Hillier Scholarship are now open. The application is available here and submit all applications to VP-EXEC@pan-apics.org by April 15, 2019. Please spread the word and encourage those pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation to apply!

We have a few programs coming up that we are excited about. First, on April 24th , we are hosting a round table for supply chain professionals to discuss current challenges and best practices at Temple University's Business School. Also, on May 8th , we are hosting a Daytime Seminar on Negotiating Skills and Professional Development Program at night with a focus on Strategic Sourcing presented by Michael Ford in King of Prussia. We hope to see you at one of these events!

Lastly, we are still enrolling for our SCOR classes and have opened up registration for two other classes - CPIM Part 2 (Saturdays) and Demand Driven Planner (DDP). Sign up today here !

Demand Driven Planner
PAN APICS is proud to partner with ASCM and the Demand Driven Institute to host the Demand Driven Planner workshop. The Demand Driven Planner (DDP) program is designed for planning, purchasing and supply chain personnel interested in and responsible for implementing and maintaining a DDMRP implementation. Designed by the leading subject matter authorities at the Demand Driven Institute, the Demand Driven Planner program is comprised of 13 modules of in-depth DDMRP education. The DDP Program is THE official preparatory course for DDI’s Demand Driven Planner Professional (DDPP) Certification test.

What is DDMRP? Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning is a multi-echelon planning and execution method to protect and promote the flow of relevant information and materials through the establishment and management of strategically placed decoupling point stock buffers. DDMRP is the supply order generation and management engine of a Demand Driven Operating Model (DDOM). DDMRP can best be summarized as Position, Protect, Pull.
