We've all seen them—news releases with bad grammar, terrible headlines and little to no news value. They’re the type of releases that give PR professionals a bad name.
We are inviting our media friends to deliver dramatic readings of the worst press releases they’ve ever received. Think Jimmy Kimmel’s Mean Tweets—but live. We will all learn a little while having a lot of laughs.
Don’t worry:
Only non-local press releases will be read and names/agencies will be kept confidential. This is a chance for us learn more about what happens in the newsroom and discover how we can improve our own news releases, while having a bit of fun.
