Fiction
Miss Shayna recommends The Search for Wondla by Tony DiTerlizzi
Eva Nine has spent all twelve years of her life being brought up by a robot named MUTHR in an isolated, high-tech, multi-chambered home with no windows. She has never met another human or living thing and knows nothing of the world outside her Sanctuary. When an intruder abruptly changes her way of life Eva Nine is forced prematurely to evacuate her home, but what she finds outside is not at all what she expected.
This is a intriguing middle grade read for fans of sci-fi, fantasy, and even elements of dystopia. On top of fantastic writing DiTerlizzi also drew magical illustrations that make the story come to life. Is Eve Nine the only human left? Who put her there and why? What will she find outside the Sanctuary? Find all the answers in this three book series!
