For the past several weeks the older kids have been learning about different fruits and vegetables. This has been a really fun topic because the kids have been encouraged to learn through seeing, touching, smelling, and tasting the different fruits and veggies. When it came time for the lesson about carrots the kids got to have fun playing with mud as we talked about how carrots grow under the ground. At first they were a little hesitant to get their hands dirty but you can tell from their smiles that once they did they loved it.
