LIFE LESSONS
Draw from Life.
Why? Because working from the live model teaches you the art of drawing - concepts like action (gestures), structure and edges (soft and hard). One of the great surprises in art is that drawing from a model won't just improve your figures, but also your landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
Keiko will do a painting to demonstrate her creative process from the start to the finish. She will also talk about her decision-making process with an emphasis on a design that conveys a certain mood and atmosphere. The demo also includes explanation of her materials, a preliminary drawing and Q&A session.
