As I write these paragraph, I'm packing my suitcase for Puerto Rico where I'll join a team of 8 (from
East Side GBC, Columbus, Ohio and Penn Valley Grace, Telford, PA). We will be doing construction and trauma care - rebuilding houses and hearts damaged in the terrifying 155 mph sustained winds and storm surge of Hurricane Maria.

2018
Though barely halfway through January, we already have so much to be thankful for, including:
- Trauma Care Training -We had an excellent Trauma Care Workshop last weekend (Jan. 13-15), which "graduated" 28 trauma workers! We hope to be able to put some of them to work to bringing healing to wounded hearts.
- Puerto Rico - Our first team from the mainland will land in Puerto Rico today, Tuesday, Jan. 23rd. I hope to be able to do an update from there, but as you know, electricity is an issue.
- YOU - we are humbled by and grateful for your partnership in prayers and giving. God is at work through us, drawing people in crisis closer to Himself and into His purposes.
