Letter from Administration

Dear Saint Theresa School Parents,
This coming Monday, March 18th, we will hold a special Home School Association meeting at 7:00 pm to discuss upcoming events, including graduation dates. We will also take some time to review this year's Basketball Tournament. Please join us for about an hour on Monday evening in the Art room so that you can stay up to date.
The 5K Race/Walk that is scheduled for the morning of May 18th is our last major fundraiser of the year. As you know, H.S.A. has raised a little over $20,000 this year. The goal is still $40,000 and with everyone's participation in the 5K, we can get very close to making this goal a reality. Consider asking friends and neighbors to join you on May 18th so that we can make this the most successful 5K to date.
Keep in mind that this Friday, March 15th, all enrollment contracts for the 2019-20 school year are due back. It is critical that we have a projected enrollment as soon as possible
The third marking period will end in just a few weeks. Parent Teacher
Conferences are scheduled for Monday evening, April 8
th
, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
As we approach the fourth quarter, we will be looking for new officers and executive members for the Home School Association. Please consider volunteering to be a parent leader for the 2019-20 school year.

ATTENTION ST. THERESA STUDENTS, PARENTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, IT IS TIME!
Please tell your family, friends and neighbors about our final fundraising event of the year!
"THE ST. THERESA TIGER TAIL 5K!!" Saturday May 18th at 9:00 AM!!
This year we are heading back to a morning start time. You will still enjoy the same family
fun and festivities only back to our original course and start time!
M.S. Running Productions and your race directors are hard at work to make sure this event
is a great time for all, not to mention the $20,000.00 we hope to help raise for your children
and our school. We simply cannot do this without everyone's participation.
Over the next week look for volunteer opportunities, but please start to sign up. If you cannot
be there we still have our "VIRTUAL RUN", where you still donate to the cause, get all the
swag and contribute to our great cause. Encourage family members from afar to DONATE too.

The Middle School plus the 5th grade class celebrated our 3rd annual " No One Eats Alone" day 3/13. The 7th grade prepared the posters and banners and coming up with ideas for each station, they served as "ambassadors" for the lunch/recess program.
Mrs.Ronnow introduced the activity by explaining how we can help eliminate social isolation in our school. We began by allowing the students to pick any table for lunch which helped mix the classes as we had 5th- 8th graders sharing tables and having conversations. The 7th grade ambassadors then brought their individual groups to their station to begin the activities! We had a game station, Jenga, Charades, Puzzles, Dominoes, Which would you rather?, How the wind blows, never have I ever, one word sentences. Everyone enjoyed the day and hopefully left feeling they got to know their fellow students better. Always remember to be kind ☘️
