During the meeting there will be presentations on the City's annual Capital Improvement Project (CIP) plan and Houston's Hurricane Harvey recovery progress, as well as multiple housing resources available to both new home buyers and those recovering from Harvey.

Old 6th Ward: MECA's Harvey Restoration Challenge Event

Due to Hurricane Harvey, the historic DOW School (owned by MECA) sustained hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. The Cullen Trust for the Performing Arts awarded MECA with a matching grant challenge, and MECA needs your help. Support the cause by attending MECA's
Harvey Restoration Challenge Event, where there will be presentations on the importance of the DOW School and performances by MECA students and alumni.
