Community Foundation to Hold Fund and Facilitate Grantmaking for Safe, Equitable and Thriving Communities (SET) Task Force Efforts The City of Cedar Rapids, Linn County, and the Cedar Rapids Community School District recently announced a partnership with the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to establish a fund to address inter-relational factors that lead to youth violence in Cedar Rapids as identified by the Safe, Equitable and Thriving Communities (SET) Task Force. The Community Foundation will facilitate a competitive grantmaking process to help accomplish the identified goals.

Join us for Celebration of Community Event The annual Celebration of Community event, hosted by the Community Foundation, will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 4 6 p.m. at the African American Museum of Iowa. The program will begin at 4 p.m. with a reception following. This years event will highlight volunteers, donors and staff members at seven nonprofit organizations. Two awards will be presented to nonprofit professionals who have gone above and beyond for their organizations. The event is free. Click below to RSVP.

Welcome Dylan Cooley, Content Associate Dylan Cooley has joined the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation team as Content Associate. He began his new role on October 17, 2018.
