LWSD Levy - How YOU Can Help!
In our role as advocates for our students, one of the best things we can do for LWHS is help get more classroom, gym and Commons space for our growing student population. We are so fortunate that the upcoming levy will support that goal.

But first, we need to get the levy passed! How can you help? Reach out to your friends in the community personally and via social media and ask for them to Vote YES!  for our students. If you have friends with children in the middle schools and elementary schools that feed into LWHS, make sure they are aware how their students will benefit from the building additions which the levy will finance.

Ballots should be arriving right before Spring Break. Encourage everyone you know to vote YES as soon as their ballot arrives. They can then head off on their Spring Break adventures knowing they have done their part.

Need a quick rundown on why to vote YES?
  1. The levy will help address critical capacity needs. LWSD has increased 26% over the past decade and it is now the third largest district in the state. LWSD needs more classrooms for students now.
  2. District-wide safety enhancements at schools, including exterior cameras at all elementary schools and entrance modifications at high schools.
  3. The levy maintains the current tax rate with no tax increase.

Better schools help build a stronger community, which improves our quality of life, and keeps our neighborhoods desirable.

For more detailed information about what the levy includes, visit the  LWSD levy website  or the  LWCLC website .
