City launches citizen survey
The City of Lakeway is working to improve its communication and engagement with the community. The Public Engagement Advisory Committee has designed a brief survey to gather the community's opinions on city services, amenities, communications, and development.
The answers will be used to better inform the city as discussions ensue about our comprehensive plan as well as near-term development opportunities.
The online survey will be open through Oct. 9.
We appreciate your participation!

Thank you to all who attended the first State of Lakeway town hall.
The audience listened, asked questions, and engaged in a two-way dialogue with Lakeway Mayor Sandy Cox on several topics.
More than 80 percent of respondents to our poll in last week's edition of The Lake Way thought the information was beneficial.

For Week 4 of National Emergency Preparedness Month, Ready.gov encourages Americans at all income levels to prepare financially in the event of a disaster or other emergency. Having access to personal financial, insurance, medical, and other records is crucial for starting the process of recovery quickly and efficiently. Taking the time now to collect and secure these critical records will give you peace of mind and, in the event of an emergency, will ensure that you have the documentation needed to start the recovery process without delay.
Download the Emergency Financial First Aid Kit (EFFAK) to prepare financially and reduce the impact disasters can leave you with financially.
