Community Volunteer
Work Day
THIS SATURDAY, June 2, 8 am-1 pm
 
Join in a day of community mission and outreach on Saturday, June 2. There will be painting, street cleaning, landscaping, food packing, and activities for seniors and children. Barbecue festival at noon. All are welcome! Please sign up in Fellowship Hall. Contact George Schildge for more information.
Taste of Islam
June 3rd from 7-9 pm

All are all cordially invited to a 3rd Annual "Taste of Islam" event in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan. There will be a Q&A session, a tour of the mosque and tasting delicious dishes from different cultural backgrounds. 496 Red Hill Rd, Holmdel, NJ. Please call (917.656.7725) or (732.915.7254) with any questions.
HUBOB Gift Cards

Stop by in Fellowship Hall and pick up grocery cards or gift cards to help us balance the budget. The next gift card order will be placed the week of June 3rd. Contact Marion Kleiner for more information. Remember: IT'S ALWAYS TIME TO HUBOB!! 
Want to get rid of some books AND help raise mission funds?

Donate books between now to help support our book sale on June 10th from 9 am - 3 pm. Please box and label all book donations and place them under the pews in 114. We will need volunteers on Sunday 6/10 to help move books outside at 8am for the book sale. Sponsored by the UMC. Contact Linda Babler for more information.
Backpack Crew
Summer Volunteers Needed

As we take on a new summer program, in partnership with the Belford UMC, we will need volunteers every Wednesday from July 11th through August 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM. Join us this Sunday (6/3) in worship as we listen for Jesus' lessons regarding Sabbath about when to live into the letter of the law and when to live into the spirit of grace and care for the vulnerable in society.
